the c&c toolbox is structured into several categories that help filter tools according to your specific needs and context. You can filter the tool based on the topic that describes the purpose of the tool, the climatic hazard which threaten coffee production, the country for which a tool is envisioned and by its content types which are attached to the tool . Please filter on the respective categories on the right for more specific search results.

case studies

to communicate key findings effectively the c&c toolbox provides case studies for tested tools. The case studies include recommendations for further trials or larger-scale implementation, as well as important lessons learned. You can download each case study attached to its tool or use the case study map to access further.

The new c&c toolbox is coming soon!

We are relaunching the c&c toolbox into an interactive web app for smallholder coffee farmers and extensionists worldwide. The digital training platform will be accessible in multiple languages, via smartphone, tablet, and laptop, even in low-bandwidth areas – and free of charge, as it used to be.

As a farmer, you will find practical solutions for the climate change impacts on your farm. As an extensionist, you will get valuable insights in a dedicated trainer section to holistically support farmers in achieving climate-smart coffee production.

This app will foster resilience against climate impacts, nurture biodiversity, promote reforestation, and aims at ensuring farmers’ livelihoods.

In response to the needs of coffee farmers, the c&c toolbox was developed as an open online platform to effectively tackle climate change. The c&c toolbox is a compilation of tools, climate maps, case studies, guidelines and further training materials that equip farmers and farming communities with valuable information. It provides a platform to exchange knowledge on known and innovative adaptation practices which we develop alongside some of the world’s leading climate experts and bridge the gap between science and farmer know-how.
